Struggling with substance abuse over the years helped to uncover her musical talent. She taught herself some keys, put pen to paper and impressed everybody. Her writing was fresh; the detailed words and melodies caught you,hook line and sinker.

Vanessa has learnt a lot performing in many of Perth’s biggest venues.

Vanessa’s background is the catalyst that makes people identify with her.

Her stories are the paints; the words are her brush and the music is her canvas.

In 2013 she became a member of Archie Roach's core choir, then launched her solo career in 2014. She had a lot of success on JJJ Unearthed.

Since then Vanessa has collaborated with many artists and started to produce music. She has made the shortlist into many competitions, conducted interviews and performed at many events in and around Perth. Christmas of 2015 she launched her first music video ‘Bad Love’ which was a hit. She has now wrapped the filming of a second video which is launching soon!

Currently, Vanessa is self-producing and recording her album, launching in 2016. Stay tuned – big things are coming!
