In 2014 Vagalatschk is proud to present its fourth album, BONIMENTIEFF, and to release its first clip totally GRUNK.

GRUNK could be the sound of anancient animal: a deep, hoarse cry at dawn, after a night of intense effort. GRUNK is the new sound of Vagalatschk, music made to wake up this ancient and deep desire to move your body from themoment the rhythm starts.

BONIMENTIEFF is a milestone inVagalatschk’s work to create demanding and popular dance music. The group hasintegrated the rhythm and groove of Afro-American music of the 1970s to its ownrock-based gypsy music of Eastern Europe.

Beyond the rage with which Vagalatschk plays, a rage that makes you want to stand upand dance, the band’s main approach remains gypsy with its way of blending any invigoratingmusical themes in its own culture and aesthetic : BONIMENTIEFF includes melodies evoking Macedonia and Romania, which are then placed upon a foundation of seventies funk groove, as well as a melodyfrom Ethiopia with its stimulating rhythm that makes you dance.
