Real (pronunciado en Castellano) es la Banda fundada originalmente por Gardy Perez en el legendario Longbranch en Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Un proyecto desarrollado en Brooklyn, NY y que nace oficialmente el 15 de Julio del 1995, despues de la muerte de "Alternative Nation" en MTV. Con influencias por los sonidos de My Bloody Valentine y Ride, entre otros exponentes del estilo conocido como "Shoegazer" o "Dream Pop"; conceptos ya explorados por Gardy Perez en sus bandas anteriores: Defacto y Arnold Layne. La banda actualmente está próxima a sacar su nuevo trabajo discográfico titulado "EPICO". La alineación más reciente de Un.Real incluye a Saul Robles - guitarra, Gibran Sanchez- bateria y Héctor Caolo Alvarez en el bajo.[Eng]

Music is what matters most..... Hailing from Isabela on the northwestern coast of Puerto Rico, Un.Real (Two words pronounced in Spanish) was first conceived by now veteran musician Gardy Perez in Brooklyn New York on July 15, 1995 after the death of MTV's Alternative Nation. Un.Real was formed for the first time as a band that same year in Aguadilla Puerto Rico at the legendary Longbranch Pub and continued as a medium where Perez and friends could experiment with sounds inspired by the shoegazing movement. (Ride, My Bloody Valentine etc.) Through out the years, Un.Real became a full-fledged band, incorporating more influences and becoming a household name on the puertorrican underground music circuit. Their demo tapes are a hot commodity among the underground music enthusiasts since they have never recorded a full length album. Currently the band is working on their new EP - EPICO. Their sound blends the shoegaze sensibility with psychedelia and experimentation. Un.Real's lineup includes Saul Robles - Guitars, Gibran Sanchez - Drums and Héctor Caolo on Bass guitar.
