Unloved are a dramatic, cinematic pop trio.
Fronted by vocalist/lyricist Jade Vincent, the other members are all-star session keyboardist and composer Keefus Ciancia, and British producer, composer and DJ David Holmes. Their elaborate atmospheric, recombinant sound is created from a vast amalgam of influences including the Shangri-Las, Jack Nitzsche, '60s beat, Raymond Scott, Lee Hazelwood, Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, psychedelia, and much more.

Their origins date to 2013. Vincent and Ciancia were writing and playing together while running a music salon at the Rotary Room; they created a space where professional musicians could relax and play music informally.

Ciancia, a widely recorded session musician, got a call to play on Holmes film score for Haywire. Holmes was invited to DJ at the Rotary Room. The trio got on exceptionally well and decided to begin writing and recording together. Assembled at Vox Studios, they enlisted the help of their music salon friends including Jim Keltner, Wayne Kramer, Jay Bellerose, Gus Seyffert, and Jonathan Wilson, and a fine cast of backing vocalists.

Unloved issued the five track Guilt of Love EP in October of 2015 and followed with an album of the same name in March the following year. ~ Thom Jurek
