The band conjugates the intensity of metal and the living warmth of improvisation. It is inspired of BO, however various they are, as well as of all musics which surround us and more particularly of those of composers such as Messiaen, Mike Patton, Stravinsky, Meshuggah, Morricone, Zorn, Zappa, King Crimson etc....The very colourful music of the United Colors of Sodom is built on the basis of long sequences entirely composed by this band unlike any other one, making of this ensemble an UFO in the landscape of today’s music.
