Ukelily est un groupe Britannique basée en Bretagne, les terres du mythe, de la magie... et du cidre! Crée par Lily, au ukélélé bondissant, elle et ses compagnons troubadours ont effectué des concerts des deux côtés de la Manche depuis 2011.Drapés de “Paisley”, de perles et de beaucoup de cheveux,cette bande amicale et chaleureuse est prête a jouer là ou le vent les portent. A cinq, à trois ou à deux ,Ukelily s'adapte aux différents lieux et ambiances. Leurs chansons, optimistes, dansantes, parlent à chacun d'entre nous et abordent les différents aspects de la vie. Les différentes influences musicales du groupe, rock , reggae et latino,s'entrelacent autour des mélodies pop composées par Lily. Paolo Nutini, Marina & the Diamonds, Blondie, The Levellers et Cocoon sont les quelques noms qui jalonnent la vie musicale de ce folk bande!

Biography (english)

The sixties was filled with flower power, experimental music, legends, liberation, hippies and one endless summer of love... or so they say.In short, a place that only some of us have lived and others can only dream of. The quirky and sprightly peeps of Ukelily are trying their utmost to live this vivid dream!

Ukelily is based in Brittany (France), the land of myth and magic... as well as some very excellent cider! Created by the fly-away ukelele wielding Lily, she and her fellow troubadours have performed on either side of the channel. Draped in Paisley, beads and a lot of hair, this friendly bunch are happy performing here-there-and-everywhere. Existing as a full five piece band since 2011, Ukelily happily adapts to each gig individually, performing at times as a trio or duo at cosier venues.

Their songs vary from upbeat vibrant tunes to get you dancing, to reflective grooves which tell tales that speak of many different aspects of life. Harmonic melodies embed their rootsy songs with subtle touches of other musical styles such as: rock, pop and reggae! What more could you expect when their influences range from: Paolo Nutini, Marina & the Diamonds, Blondie, the Levellers and Cocoon to name but a few!
