In 2008, I Co-Founded a non-profit project called Driven to Sustain which demonstrated that traditional fuels are going the way of the dinosaurs.
In 2011, we were granted the Guinness World Record for the “Longest Journey By Car Using Alternative Fuel” using renewable biofuel and traveled 48,535 km (30,158 mi).During that time we visited over 250 schools, speaking to 10,000 youth as part of an education outreach campaign. The project, Driven to Sustain got our sponsors over 20 million impressions internationally through major media outlets such as: Reuters, Fox News, NBC, CBS, ABC, CBC's - The National, CTV's - NewsNet, The Weather Network, The Toronto Star, The Metro, JALOPNIK, TreeHugger and other international and local outlets, it was a huge success. My commitment to energy education and clean methods of transportation is leading me to continue my work where I will circumnavigate the globe without using a gas station.
