The three members of L.A.'s Twintwelve came together because of their love of pop/rock, especially when it's heavy on the pop.
Lead singer Jeny Nicholson was first spotted fronting the Washington, D.C., band Hearsay. She then moved to Los Angeles and joined My Sister Amazing before meeting her future bandmates James O'Connell and Gordon Townsend. O'Connell had been a member of the Crosswalk and had worked with Cody ChesnuTT and Jon Brion. Townsend had recorded and performed with Electric Light Orchestra, Part II, Paul McCartney, and Jason Falkner. In 2002 the three came together and formed Twintwelve. Two years later they released their self-titled debut and soon their songs were landing on episodes of MTV's The Real World. Twintwelve also run a recording studio in Silver Lake, CA, where they produce and help develop aspiring artists. ~ David Jeffries
