A few words...
Triple Bath is a recording label based in Athens (Greece), found by Themistoklis Pantelopoulos in September 2006 and joined by Spyros Galatis in October 2009 in charge of artistic consulting.

Triple Bath was first envisioned in summer 2003, after the idea for a remix project at the Artist Server (artistserver.com) online music community. For the history, a CDR was compiled including 10 remixes (by artists from the USA, England, the Netherlands and Greece) of the piece "Triple Bath" by Nokalypse plus the original version, during spring/summer 2004. That was all back then.

Triple Bath takes breath by good yet unheard music that wanders around. It came into being to accumulate the harvest of some special artists/bands by releasing their music in carefully produced CDR editions, printed on demand.

In the eight years of existence, Triple Bath has released 40 titles with music from musicians/bands from Greece, the USA, Canada, Norway, Belgium, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Switzerland, Poland, the UK, Japan, Italy, Portugal and France.

Triple Bath highly values calm, mysterious music, regardless of any connection to or detachment from specific traditions, cultural weight or political beliefs.

All releases can be ordered via PayPal though the website. Some of them might also be found at specific mail-order/distributors and music stores in Athens, namely Drone Records (DE), Metamkine (FR), Minimamedia (DE), Improvised Music from Japan (JP), Vinyl Microstore (34, Didotou / Athens) and It Records (10, Kleisovis / Athens).

Triple Bath is always interested in listening to demos. Feel free to send your music if you believe it is appropriate for a release on the label. Please send us an e-mail to triplebath@yahoo.com prior to sending anything.

Triple Bath is musically into everything of hybrid nature. Some key genres could be electroacoustic (David Behrman, Kim Cascone, Iannis Xenakis), cathedral, nocturnal ambient (Tim Hecker, Matthew Florianz, Murcof), beatless industrial (Nurse With Wound, Jeff Surak, Daniel Menche), minimal noise & field recordings (Chris Watson, Francisco López, Lee Patterson), organic drone (Charlemagne Palestine, Phill Niblock, Nikos Veliotis), free-improvisation (Evan Parker, Barry Guy, Keiji Haino), modern classical (Krzysztof Penderecki, Alfred Schnittke, Arvo Pärt), nocturnal cinematic (Ingram Marshall, Eleni Karaindrou, Bohren & der Club of Gore), traditional music and its crossroad with avant-garde (Stephan Micus, Savina Yannatou, Ross Daly).
