His inspiration comes from music by Tupac, Nas, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Big L. To date, Kapone has released several music videos, performed multiple shows including several rap battles, and released several mixtapes ("Hood Politicianz Present: Town City" and "LA Timez Front Page Newz” hosted by Dame Grease). He also has been featured in two urban network magazines and has two number one hits on the 1580 Radio Show. Kapone was signed to Remix/Sony Records for three years and is now with dogz4Life for his new project. “City of Angels” is an autobiography of the day and the life of Kapone and the city he was born and raised in. The project includes several motivational anthems and songs like "Living on a Cloud," "100 Miles in a Chevy," "Chitty Bang," and "Same Old Thang.” The new mixtape “City of Angels” is now available for download or streaming.
