"DJ & Producer"
BIOGRAPHY TOM CLOUD (Black Hole Rec.)
Tom Cloud is one of the fastest rising up-and-coming artists of the Trance scene at the moment. In 2006 he appeared on the scene of the first time with his hit single release "Told You So", which was licensed to Blackhole Recordings and which was picked by Tiesto for his legendary mix album "In Search Of Sunrise". It became the most requested track of this mix album and it went immediately to 1 of Beatport Charts. Being a DJ for more than ten years, he started to play his first international gigs and concentrated on producing. Several new productions followed, such as remixes for Leama and Moor, Johan Gielen or Andrew Bennett feat. Kirsty Hawkshaw. His brilliant single called "Secretly" with vocals of Tiff Lacey was released on Armada Music, too.
But this was only the beginning of Tom Cloud's career: In 2007 three new singles came out and went to 1 of the Beatport Charts within only three months! And Tiesto became a big supporter of Tom Cloud: He added another Tom Cloud track called "Mercury Room" to the tracklist of his 2007 edition of "In Search Of Sunrise". And Tiesto asked Tom Cloud to remix his track "Sweet Things", which became a huge hit tune within only a few weeks.
So no wonder, Tom Cloud was asked to play at "Trance Energy" in 2008, the most important event of the Trance scene worldwide, as well as Nature One’s mainstage.
Tom Cloud’s productions are supported by every major Trance DJ around the globe. You find his music in sets by Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, just to name a few.
In 2010 Tom Cloud released his first artists album „A New Day“. The long player contained tracks like Silent Sun feat. Antonia Lucas, Isolation with Russia’s DJ Mag Top 100 artists Moonbeam, Again feat. Esmaye, the title track A New Day featuring the beautiful vocals of Tiff Lacey, who is known for her
all time classics with Paul Oakenfold and ATB, as well as Tom’s breakthrough hit and Tiesto favourite Told You So.
2012 is the year of Tom’s second artist album called The Sky Is The Limit. It proves again Tom’s diveristy and underlines his big feeling for beats and melodies that will stuck in your head. It contains singles such as the In Serach Of Sunrise featured track The Sky Is The Limit, C-Sharp, Tom’s interpretation of the classic by Rank1 half Benno De Goji, as well as tracks like Crazy 4 U, Do It Over and 4 o’Clock In The Morning featuring the amazing vocals of Antonia Lucas.
„4 o’Clock In The Morning“ will be the first single of the album and is a rework of Beverley Craven’s „Promise Me“ and will come in a massive Arena mix. The video is already in the making.
But this is just the beginning. Watch out for Tom Cloud in 2012. There will be a few more big surprises
