Although Tibi Lubin sounds like it might be an unusual first name for a female singer/songwriter, it's actually a band, fronted by female singer/songwriter Katie Stewart.
Their first album, 2004's I Don't See You as a Dead Girl, had sparse, low-key, free-associative, new wave-punk-influenced music with similarities to early-'80s sounds by British groups such as the Raincoats, Young Marble Giants, and the Marine Girls. ~ Richie Unterberger
