Song writer, composer, arranger and producer, Senegalese
artst Thiecko, now based in France furrows the roads with

his Taxi Brouss Band spreading the spirit of public transportation in Africa

and offering to all people the roots of reggae brotherhood.

Former keyboard player in Amandla (reggae trio in Senegal in

the 90's) His music evokes with accuracy universal love, faith

and unity, and also sings about evils of politc in Africa.

What we retains especially are the human and social values

that his music defends and his invitaton to be respectul, just,

and have solidarity and tolerance.

Thiecko invite us to travel by sharing a generous music with

captvatIng rythm in wolof bambara, french and english.

Afer his 1st album « Ton combat » released in june 2004, and

afer several concerts in France and Africa, he came back in

2010 with « sayaan » the source in wolof. A CD realised

between France, Dakar and London.

He has shared the stage with Sophia brown in Kingston, Alpha

Blondy, Groundaton, Jamaica All Stars, Pierpoljak, Gérald de

Palmas, Youssou Ndour, Baba Maal, Salif Keita and many

others.

A highly antcipated album.

During 2 years Thiecko worked on his next albums, which like

previous album in impregnated with travel different cultures

and musical infuences.

With 10 ttles, each with its own character musical

arrangement, and performance, and most especially its

specifc language and theme.

More than twenty musicians from Senegal, Jamaica, France

and Mauritus partcipated in the project »stand tall » which

gives the album a unique character.

Thiecko surrounded himself with great jamaican musicians,

during his escape, such as:

ROBBIE SHAKESPEARE: one of the most prolifc musicians,

who needs no introducton, DEAN FRASER: greatest reggae

saxophonist of all tme, GLEN DACOSTA: the master

saxophonist BOB MARLEY, BONGO HERMAN: legendary

percussionist DANNY "Axeman" THOMPSON: bassist for

BUNNY WAILER, Frankly "BUBBLER" Waul: keyboards for

ZIGGY MARLEY, ALPHA BLONDY, GLEN BROWNE: bassist for

ZIGGY MARLEY, TARRUS RILEY, JIMMY CLIFF, ALVIN

HAUGHTON: percussionist for BURNING SPEAR, JIMMY CLIFF,

BERNARD LAVILLIERS
