Emigrating from Vietnam, Duy Nguyen was raised in Virginia, receiving degrees in Cinema and Philosophy with a minor in Creative Advertising. He currently lives in Los Angeles. Nguyen currently runs the online magazine www.thegoodonesmag.com, which he founded in 2011.

His photographs and videos has been featured in The Source, Complex, XXL, Need Supply Co., Myspace. He has been fortunate to work with and photograph the likes of Raekwon the Chef, Drake, J. Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Thrice, Wilco, New Found Glory, Chris Brown, Jeff Staple and among many more.
