Minnesota's the Vestals are spearheaded by singing and guitar-playing brothers Jeremy and Ben Gordon, who, after honing their skills both at home and on-stage, actually qualified as finalists in the 2000 edition of the yearly John Lennon Song Writing Contest -- with separate submissions! Thus emboldened, they joined forces with bassist Mark Weigel and drummer Mario Garza to form the Vestals three years later, and released their eponymous debut album through Warming House Records in 2004.
