He got his start there, as a rocker, singer, producer, and electronics explorer, all happening amidst the seaside city's smoke-choked casinos and overcast boardwalks. The Sweet Chap eventually settled into electronic music, but not without incorporating the various styles and genres he'd encountered over the years. Initially releasing his music exclusively through file-sharing sites like Kazaa, he eventually hooked up with the downloads-only digital label Protest Recordings, which issued the Disco for a Domestic full-length. Its release was accompanied by singles and touring, the latter of which the Sweet Chap handled with boundless energy on the decks and self-created visuals behind. ~ Johnny Loftus
