Six feet underground, The Suicide Ghouls formed in 2009. Stretching beyond the confines of a cedar box and punk rock politics, they have played in various cities all over the Midwest region and are spreading faster than the zombie plague. Originally formed by Tyler Toxic and Chris "Skankula" Skaggs, The Suicide Ghouls have changed faces over the years, but that just happens to be the perk of being dead. The band has released a full length album and an EP that have been reviewed and well received internationally. With campy 50's ballads like "Dead Girls Don't Say No" to the thrashier "Beast From Above", The Suicide Ghouls are out to prove one thing, there's something for everyone in Hell.
In the time that they have spent together, The Suicide Ghouls have written over two hours worth of original songs and rehearsed over one hour of covers to suit and exploit any and all situations they may find themselves in. Having a full length album, the ep, and a second full length album under their belt helps ensure that the band is able to continue playing their fans' favorite songs and giving them new songs to die too. With an ear to the ground and an eye in the crypt, they're always prepped to entertain legions of the undead, and their dinner.
The Suicide Ghouls' never ending endeavour of moving this cemetery sideshow further down the road has been not only impressive, but also inspiring. They have shared the stage with fellow horror rockers: The Misfits, Michale Graves, Doyle, Blitzkid, Calabrese and many more. Constantly remaining vigilant to knock on as many coffins as necessary to spread their name, The Suicide Ghouls have been able to haunt towns from New York down to South Carolina. While it may be true that there is no crypt like home, The Suicide Ghouls have made it clear that they are just as comfortable on one stage as they are on any other. With five years, two albums, one EP, and an obsession for beer and dead things, The Suicide Ghouls show no sign of slowing down. As more shows are booked and more songs are written, they have all the thirst of a fresh vampire and the ferocity of the deadliest of werewolves. The Suicide Ghouls, a band for all of the world's freaks, geeks, and general weird-o's.
