Influences go from classic hard rock (black sabbath/ac-dc),to 90’s grunge and alternative rock (alice in chains/smashing pumpkins), to new school bands such as Nickelback, Ignite, A Perfect Circle.

The result is a fresh and powerful “in your face” style hard rock and a combo that can show its determination and originality in any live situation, may it be “unplugged” or at an open air festival in front of 10,000 people.

Alongside various projects in which Alessandro was involved (including the band Reflections, with whom he released 2 albums in 2006 and 2011 and played with bands such as AGNOSTIC FRONT,NOFX,D.O.A. and MARKY RAMONE) the band was promoted in Italy playing as supporter to artists such as MEGANOIDI in 2005, UK SUBS and ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION in 2007, ZERO ASSOLUTO in 2009) and in London, where the band performed in 2003 and 2005 in a variety of clubs and acoustic open nights (including “the electric ballroom” and the historical “100 club”).

In 2010, the band released their first E.P, which for the first time used free online distribution channels such as Jamendo.com to receive wider attention and few hundred downloads.

In the same year the band teamed up with director Naikol Zeis who directed their first music video “Stuck in You” (which can be watched on the official myspace page: http://www.myspace. com / theshazta).

Finally in summer 2012 the band recorded its first full length album entitled “Never be defeat”, which was mixed and mastered at W-Rec studios in Palermo, Italy and released on April 4 2013.
