Founded in 2006, The Sessions Voices are one of the most renowned choruses of Italy.
They take their name after Bruce Springsteen’s album The Seeger Sessions, since their first concert took place at a lecture on American Folk Music when Springsteen was touring Italy in 2006.

They thought it was their one and only gig, but soon they started to be invited at national venues and festivals.

In 2011 they published their first CD, a collection of songs with a social and political message taken from the American folk, blues, and gospel traditions, songs with a strong link to the Civil Rights Movement.

Their 1st official video, Jacob’s Ladder (filmed and edited by them), was published on their Youtube Channel in June 2012. Blackbird, their 2nd official video, is a heartfelt homage to the Civil Rights Movement and its heritage.
