The Pulses moved from the city that never sleeps, New York City, to the grunge soaked neighborhoods of Seattle in the late nineties.
Comprised of Jessie Steinchen and Dave Ramm, The Pulses finally gelled in 1999 when ex-Fallouts bassist Shannon McConnell joined the group. Together, the trio designed an infectious garage punk sound. Shared dates with fellow Seattle bands like The Epoxies, The Cripples, and The Gloryholes followed. The Pulses made a proper introduction to the world in fall 2002 when they issued their self-titled debut album via Dirtnap Records. The Little Brothers EP appeared in fall 2003. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
