Carried by the burning echo, in the depths of a dull smothering summer stellar night bathed in Alabama’s dust ruddy light, come the chards of an ancient rumor.
It is said that their blood and the nefarious brown magma from which they came to life are similar in nature. It issaid also that pallid beer tears flow from their eyes when theirsouls carry them to the memories of Alabama, the cradle of the soundsbathing their hearts. It is finally said that they were all born thesame day, from the same mother but from different fathers as fivevertiginous challenges to the laws of nature. Under the influence ofPhil Anselmo, Ruyter Suys, Neil Fallon, and James Hetfield, Ol took his guitar dragging Chuck and his drums, Burt and his bass, Tuco and his guitar and Mitch and his screams on the road of an impossible way back to faraway birthplace America. Once the unpredictable ups and downs of destiny had dragged Burt away towards less mythical still colder lands, the impenetrable ways of space and time miraculously brought back to them their very late Uncle Phil. Along the road, in a gesture as generous as the blisters on his hands, Chuck found the strength in his heart to pass his drumsticks on to Johnny Boy,youngest of the tribe. It is said that they are mistaken and that the twisted road they are looking for is shut forever. But you can plan on them to carry on the good word from the muddy rock with stoner tones with which they saw light and grew up. YIEHAW!!!
