Formed in 2003 by three friends at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, the Mile After were a pop/rock band that gelled once the recruitment of Mike Borbacz on bass finalized the lineup.
The group honed their chops with a fairly steady series of performances around the southeastern United States, playing to parties, clubs, and bars all over the region. Eventually, the group built up enough of a buzz that Rushmore Records offered them a deal. The group happily joined up, and were soon off on a national tour of their own. In 2008, their first album, Armada, was released -- albeit on the In & Out label. ~ Chris True
