The Late Greats got their start in Eastbourne, U.K. and released their debut single, "Bang Bang," on Izumi Records in 2005.
The group continued to release singles on the label and earned praise from fans and critics. The exposure helped to increase the group's popularity, and in 2006 their single "Destroy My Brain" made it onto the Playlouder Top 50 Singles list. A year later, the Late Greats were playing the CMJ Music Marathon in New York City. In March 2008, the group released the single "Future's Gold" and announced the completion of their debut album. ~ Katherine Fulton
