Laura B (aka The Fantastic Laura B) is a London-based French music artist who has quietly made her way to the forefront of her genre without having to court the kinds of media hype and hyperbole that many lesser artists seek.
While you may not know her name, she has composed, sang, engineered and produced music for EMI, Universal and many indie labels worldwide and is regularly playlisted by some of today’s most influential club and radio Djs such as Paul Oakenfold, Laurent Garnier and Pete Tong to name but a few. Her unique brand of chilled, progressive, yet beatsy and organic electronica has graced live stages to critical acclaim across the globe with gigs in Europe, USA, Japan, India, the Caribbean, and closer to home as a key part of the legendary Big Chill festival in the UK.

The BBC hailed her as one of the top acts of the day at the Big Chill 2004, The Guardian made her New Band of the Day as 'a rarity, a woman who not only writes, sings and performs her own material but also handles all the gadgetry in the studio'. As the most prominent newcomer to the genre she was interviewed alongside Jose Padilla (Cafe Del Mar) and Edgar Froese (Tangerine Dream) for the BBC Radio 2 'Moments in Love - the history of Chillout', featuring music by Erik Satie, Claude Debussy, Brian Eno and Air.

Laura B has worked with Tate Britain - ICA - MOMA - BBC - ZDF - EMI - Habitat - Virgin Atlantic - Martin Creed - Arthur Baker - Roger Waters - Pink Floyd - Pet Shop Boys - Christina Aguilera - Spice Girls - the Big Chill
