The Drunken Gentlemen were formed in London by a couple of South Wales émigrés who slowly travelled west, via Naples, to Cheltenham.
This duo eventually became an unholy trinity when Andy Mambeau finally joined Jacques Miami and Nick Roubles in the band, ten years after he was first asked. They play sleazy torch ballads, bar-room laments and louche indie pop using anything they, and their extended family of musicians, can lay their hands on.
