Formed in 2004, Lawrence, KS-based Cast Pattern craft meticulous and brutal grindcore-kissed tech-metal in the vein of acts like Converge, the Dillinger Escape Plan, and Ed Gein.
Fueled by the talents of aptly named vocalist James Savage, drummer Spencer Bates, bassist Brian Denman, and guitarists Chris Hess and Jamakee Blackburn, Cast Pattern released their eponymous debut album on the Uprising/Midgets with Machetes label in spring 2008. ~ James Christopher Monger
