The Bright Midnight is: Ryan Carpenter (vocals, guitar), Beau Atkinson (guitar), Grafton Geraca (bass) and Damon Sawyer (drums).

In 2007, guitarist and bassist, Beau and Grafton left behind their home in Savannah, Georgia in order to pursue their dreams of playing music professionally. After two years of playing cover songs in small venues around Portland, the duo met 17 year old singer/songwriter Ryan Carpenter, who at the time, was working on his own EP. Friends from the get go, it didn’t take long for the three musicians to realize that they shared a musical vision. In 2010, the group met Alaskan drummer Kyle Tolva, and began performing as The Bright Midnight.

In 2011, The Bright Midnight released their self-titled debut EP. The release developed a following for the band in the Northwest rock scene and established The Bright Midnight as a popular local act on the rise. Unfortunately, an attempted relocation to Southern California separated the band and forced them into a hiatus early in 2012.

After a year apart spent pursuing other musical endeavours, The Bright Midnight reformed with new drummer, Portland native, Damon Sawyer. After incorporating new styles into the bands sound, they announced their next release due March of 2014. The highly anticipated release "Red House Loyals", features 6 tracks that captures the bands new dynamic sound. The band is currently playing regionally and will embark on their six state, "Party at Your House!" tour, in May of 2014.
