Miss YaYa y La Fuerza are a New York based Salsa Urbana musical ensemble. Born and raised in NYC of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent, Miss YaYa is a singer/ songwriter who specializes in making people dance. From 2007, as the lead singer of legendary Salsa group, Dark Latin Groove, she has been nominated for a Grammy and toured the world. After 9 years, the diverse and bilingual Miss YaYa went on to launch her solo music career. Her sensuous R & B voice lends itself to the Tropical genre, with a focus in the Salsa Urbana movement. Miss YaYa's first solo album, titled "The Demo", with hits like "Acariciame," a cover originally by Maria Conchita Alonso, and original songs like "Sigo De Pie" and "YPTNM", will most certainly get your body going.
