Gentlemen of Leisure are the synth pop duo of Deiter Mueller (vocals) and Karl Heinz (programming, instruments, vocals).
The pair met in Germany in Berlin clubs, but moved to California where they recorded their 2001 self-titled album. The record has a spare electronic pop/rock sound redolent of the '80s, and is very much oriented toward songs with lyrics sung in English. ~ Richie Unterberger
