After years of crossing paths, playing in various bands and recording, songwriters Chris Sahlin (vocals), and Brian Anderson (bass) reunited in 2010 to form Ten Times Gravity, a song-writing team with one common vision: writing great songs.
Songs inspired by years of love and loss, triumph and tragedy shared collectively and individually. Years ago, Sahlin and Anderson were part of Tucson’s own Nevershine, which produced the single “Breathe Again,” which quickly earned its place in regular rotation on KFMA to an unprecedented listener response. Such success was pretty much unheard-of at the time for an unsigned band and building on the success, Nevershine went on to record two CDs. Both brought major label interest. Fast forward to 2010. The songwriting team Ten Times Gravity goes into Allusion Studios in Tucson, to record a few songs with Jim Pavett, for a tribute album benefitting the victims of the Tucson Shootings. These songs are the result. The tribute album featuring dozens of local Tucson musicians, "CAN WE GET TOGETHER" is available on iTunes as well as both Nevershine CDs and these 10XG singles.
