I've always been well..weird. Abstract. Different. Poetic. I've always been ostracized and even mocked for being strange from the rest. In 9th grade, when everyone was listening to House Party by Meek Mill, I was listening to Deep Space 9mm by EL-P.

My life was completely changed when I heard both of Slum Village's FAN-TAS-TICs. J Dilla's dreamy yet soulful and wistful production caught my ears. After this I heard the classic Illmatic, Company Flow's Funcrusher Plus, Boogie Down Production's Criminal Minded, Flying Lotus' 1983, Quasimoto's The Unseen, Cannibal Ox's Cold Vein and Madivillainy's Madvillain. All of these completely changed my outlook on life. I stopped trying to fit in. I was going to be...me. And now I'm here.
