Ambient Distortion with a melodic rhythm.
Tamer Turk was formerly a metal dj at Metalboro, produced one of the first East Rock Compilation CD called "Street Heroes" in 1990. Worked for Atlantic Records until the mid 90s, then worked for large hitech companies. Started recording on 4 track analog in 1998, then to CD mainly as a hobbyist. Recorded first songs on MySpace in 2002 with The Birth, Samba Turk then achieved popularity with the sounds in "Open Range". Took some breaks in between experimenting with electronic sounds mixed with electric guitars. I use mainly Schechter, ESP(LTD- emg 81/86) and Les Paul. Yamaha keys, digital drum tracks and Yamaha pads. Line 6 gear and record mainly on Music Maker with subtle sampling.

I have a lyric portfolio of close to 500, mostly never recorded. Song tracks, mainly instrumentals number over 60. This is strictly a form of self enjoyment and i do not claim to be a solid musician, but humble performer of the joy of expressing the sounds that need to be captured...

I've traveled extensively. The sounds are an amalgamation of my Turkic upbringing with the deep rooted soulful music passed on from the Caucasus and Central Asia, with Azeri elements, mixed with a solid urban exposure to the sounds of Newark, the fascination with Heavy Metal, Classical Music, Jazz, Turkish Blues(Turku), Blues, Rock, Techno, Rap, Latin, Instrumental, Electronic and beyond. My friends call my music, Future Music. I think it's just sounds of emotion and nothing more. A little trippy, acidy and spacey, but with a lot of soul.

My hobbies are mainly listening to great music, the great outdoors, gourmet cooking and the passion of making home brew.. I hope you enjoy.. Peace.
