TAMARA WILLIAMSON BIO
It’s not often that you get to see Royalty playing a Gibson SG but if you knew Tamara’s story you would know her late father was the King of Redonda. You would also know that she is second cousin to Chris DeBurg and that he was her lodger when she was growing up. You also wouldn’t be surprised to hear that Guy Richie (Madonna’s X husband) was her childhood close friend and that the famous poet Beverly Nichols was her great uncle.

This would all make sense in you knew Tamara and her music because the word eccentric fit’s it all quite well.

Here are some of the highlights…

In 1999 NOW Mag voted Tamara fourth best show of the year just after Bjork and before GreenDay.

Tamara Williamson was long destined for a life immersed in music after a childhood of classical studies................................... Foregoing a career in Opera, Tamara’s musical sensibilities began to blossom in a series of small, independent bands she formed in London before relocating to Toronto in 1993, where she joined the band Garden Traffic and then Why the Sky which became Mrs. Torrance and was signed with BMG Canada. They released two full-length albums and an EP before disbanding in 1998 the band toured extensively, supporting the likes of Jewel and Oasis.

She then released 6 solo records/
