He comes from the roughest parts of Virginia without a stain on his shirt. Born and raised in Norfolk where there's lots to see and little to do. Supress began rhyming at the age of 15. At first it was mainly a hobby, but when he realized that he was good at it, he made it part of his life. Always feeling like Virginia was missing an identity of its own, Supress felt that he needed to create something special that individuals from his area would relate too. Upsouth Music was the key. Supress’s journey takes him throughout the United States eventually linking up with indie label Lockout Entertainment early 2007. Supress joined the group Trendsetters, which started with five members and rapidly declined to three, Supress, Grizzly Stax and Kap Rizzy. The three artist went on to produce four albums, three mixtapes and a Lockout Entertainment tour around the world doing shows for the troops at different army , navy and air force facilities. The group split and went their separate ways in late 2010. Now Supress has a hot single floating around and is in the business of running his indie label UpSouth Music.
