With a six-piece lineup constituted by Michael Labieniec (guitar), Steve Button (drums, percussion), Kevin Brennon (bass), Jenn Jacobs (vocals), Chris (keyboards), and John Labieniec (vocals), Sugarfist first formed in Hartford, CN, in the late '90s. Relying on powerful live shows portraying the band's energizing and potent musical manifesto, Sugarfist swiftly became one of the top references within the local underground music scene. In 2000, their debut album Stinky Pinky hit record stores and received consistent acclaim, also confirming the crew's unrivaled groove-core style soundings.
