Rock band the Streamers are led by singer/guitarist Sean Yoxovic, who was born and raised in Serbia, where he became infatuated with Western rock music after seeing A Hard Day's Night on television.
Yoxovic attempted to forge a musical career in Serbia, but soon began traveling around Europe. Eventually, he was able to relocate to New York City, where he began playing in clubs and assembled the Streamers, also featuring drummer Kent Carter and guitarist Youval L. Their debut album, This Is Not Material World, was released on Omorica Records in 2004. ~ William Ruhlmann
