Growing up on the west side of Manhattan in an area infamously known as Hell's Kitchen, it wasn't long before 29 year-old Steven Alexander, known as Steve Frawst, would become acquainted with the energy and hustle unique to the streets of one of the biggest cities in the world.
Sheltered by few, Frawst was exposed to a lifestyle commonly adopted from city kids who grew up in the 90’s & early 00’s: Drugs, sex and rap.

But with wisdom from his mother (a Broadway Actress) and father (a Producer of CBS News), Frawst had a balance in his life that many of his childhood peers were missing. It is this balance that is responsible for his untold story, the life of a young man trying to balance the temptations of hustling in the streets and growing up in a black middle class family.

During his upbringing, Frawst was constantly surrounded by an eclectic range of music. He lent his ear to R&B masters such as the Isley Brothers and hip hop legends including the Wu Tang Clan, which helped prepare him for the opportunities that would soon arise in the music industry.

At age 26, Frawst released his first EP 'The New Regime', a project exclusively produced by the now-prominent Harry Fraud. From then on he sunk countless hours into his craft, developing a sound that he could call his own. And through this dedication and effort, Frawst has been able to begin to showcase his unparalleled ability and humorous word play. His hard-work and talent has made it possible to work with a wide range of respected musical talents like; French Montana, Sean Price, Ransom, Steven King, G. Dep, Maffew Ragazino, and producers BangOut, Rusty Mack, Decap & Brady Watt, and the previously mentioned Harry Fraud, among others. Be on the lookout for his next projects and get in with the #InCrowd.
