Although Stephen Brodsky is nationally known as the frontman for Cave-In as well as a fill in bassist for Converge, his solo efforts are more of a step toward experimental indie pop than his normal array of Iron Maiden-influenced metal-core.
Released in 1999 through Grimsey and Dopamine Records, Brodsky's debut full-length of Expose Your Overdubs fits along the lines of Jeremy Enigk, Elliot Smith, and Robert Pollard. ~ Mike DaRonco
