Stereo Skyline formed in 2006, while its members were still attending high school in East Meadow, NY.
While cycling through several different lineups, the band began releasing recordings like 2006’s Worst Case Scenario and 2008’s self-titled Stereo Skyline EP. Co-founder Matt Villani left the lineup several months after the EP’s release and was replaced by Brian Maddox, who joined just in time to sign a record deal with Columbia. The group then began work on a full-length album, with former Metro Station frontman Blake Healy serving as the producer and a string of songwriters -- including Healy, Adam Schlesinger, and S*A*M & Sluggo -- working as collaborators. The resulting album, Stuck on Repeat, was released during the summer of 2010. ~ Andrew Leahey
