Born & raised in Athens, Mike started his musical journey on piano, but soon found himself experimenting with beats, synths & poetry.
By 18 he reached the UK to study Music Production before embarking on an engineering career specialising in Hip-Hop. His original work brought him interest in the UK & he soon signed his 1st independent contract releasing debut album Satiri Nomades (2005). The DualDisc release of his 1st 2 singles - coupled with 2 groundbreaking music videos - saw his work being licensed to Universal Music & a Best Hip-Hop Video nomination followed in 2006. A number of major offers met his buzz in 2007 & he chose EMI for his trilogy XLI3H-ANELI3H-KATALH3H. In the following 2 years, XLI3H produced 4 successful singles, an MTV Best Greek Act award, 4 VMA nominations (inc. Best Hip-Hop Video, Video of the Year & Artist of the Year) & an MTV Europe's Favourite Act nomination, as well as collaborations with local legend Haris Alexiou & the Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra. He toured extensively & supported international acts such as Busta Rhymes & De La Soul. Single Peraia Mou became the modern anthem for Olympiacos team, leading to 2 live appearances at the Piraeus Stadium. In 2010, Mike got nominated for Best Duet, extended his live shows to London & accepted the position of Senior Lecturer in Music at the University of Westminster. He released ANELI3H (2011) & then created Rapcore outfit SchiZm receiving sponsorship from Red Bull for debut single Akoma. His collaboration with legendary Imiskoumbria led to him joining their Imiz Biz collective (2012), just as he started working on his follow-up record. In 2013 he became the 1st Greek artist to ever perform at SXSW festival. Mike is now working on album KATALH3H & a documentary from his trip to SXSW, funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign. XLI3H has just been included in Sonik's 30 Best Greek Hip-Hop albums of all time!
