Led by singer/songwriter Frank Jordan, the Bright Lights played a highly charged brand of indie pop/rock.
Jordan, who was also a member of Boyracer, the Snow Fairies, the Mosquitoes, and Remedy in Ren, led the group with his raw energy and unbridled enthusiasm. Drummer Chris Nakayama, bassist Chuck Reutter, and a revolving door of other musicians rounded out the group. The main trio released a self-titled disc on 555 Recordings, as well as a slew of cassettes, singles, and compilation tracks. The band toured with Jen Turrell and other members of the 555 Records roster. ~ Stephen Cramer
