Originally based in Atlanta, Georgia, but relocating to Los Angeles in pursuit of a recording contract, this hard rock band was formed by Jesse Harte (b.
USA; vocals), Butch Walker (b. Bradley Glenn Walker III, 14 November 1969, Cartersville, Georgia, USA; guitar/vocals), Jayce Fincher (b. Georgia, USA; bass/vocals) and Mitch McLee (b. Dough Mitchell, Niles, Michigan, USA; drums). The quartet was initially known as Byte The Bullet but changed their name on signing a major label contract with Charisma Records. Their 1991 debut, Tainted Angel, was produced by Howard Benson and Desmond Child, and revealed a penchant for the popular glam-infused rock sound of the early 90s. The follow-up, Group Therapy, varied the approach to greater effect, but like the debut was a commercial non-starter. Walker, Fincher and McLee went on to work together in the more pop-orientated Marvelous 3.
