Born in Jamaica and raised in Wolverhampton, UK, Mervin's musical style has been influenced by US and UK Blues/Rock artists. Other musical influences include Raggae and alternative singer songwriters. His songs reflects an undertone of Blues; soulful lyrics mixed with elements of protest and fused together with a percussive guitar style. Now based in Cornwall, UK, Mervin has independently recorded and released two studio albums 'more than a promise' in 2006, 'Carbon Footprint' in 2010 and an EP 'Inspired' 2013.
