He has spent over 25 years in the broadcast radio industry. In May 2013, Kelly took over 107.3 JACK fm as Program Director. He is also currently hosting Saturday and Sunday shows from 10am to 3pm on sister station, 99.1 WQIK. Skip Kelly had last been with Clear Channel Jacksonville in 2006, serving as Program Director for WFKS-FM, 97.9 KISS fm. In the past, he has worked for KIIS-FM Los Angeles, KYSR Los Angeles, Kiss 108 Boston and others. On air, he has shared the same mic as well known personalities such as Ryan Seacrest, Danny Bonaduce, Delilah, Matty Siegel, and Dale Dorman. In 2012 and 2013, he served as the Music Director for Jacksonville Fashion Week. In 2001 Skip Kelly hosted "The Movie Loft" for the UPN network, one of the first "hosted movie" franchises on television long before it became a staple on cable. He has also been a contributor to both MTV and Entertainment Tonight providing interview footage with stars like Ricky Martin, Nelly Furtado, Lionel Richie and others.

In addition to working in radio & television, his private venture Skip Kelly Productions has won the Wedding Wire "Bride's Choice" Award, the "Best of Weddings" from The Knot, the Wedding Industry Experts "Best DJ in Florida" award and was voted "Best of Jacksonville" by the readers of Jacksonville Magazine in both 2013 and 2012.
