Born in NDG to West Indian parents, Skinny's family relocated to Dorval when he was six years old. Starting off as the drummer for the Velvet Trench Vibes in the early 2000's, he later joined Underground Realroad where he alongside emcee Big Bricc opened or acts such as Big Boi, Wiz Khalifa, Yelawolf & Big Krit.

The producer kept busy in 2011 and 2012 by crafting gems for some of the city's finest (D Shade,SRH, CeasRock and Rico Blox, just to name a few) while also putting down notable efforts with some state side artists (Smoke Dza & JuJu of the Beatnuts).

With the release of his innovative self-produced full-length album Sample Clearance, followed by a joint album with MTL rapper HMan entitled H.U.L.K 2.0, SkinDeep consistently proves that not only is he a passionate and established producer, but that he is an artist skilled at piecing together exciting bodies of work, worthy of more than a couple listens. His creative and refreshing beats will leave listeners and artists wanting more.
