      I played my guitar, tambourine (shown above) , and recorder at the purim party that I wore this costume to. My dad played guitar there, too.

      For Purim this year, I dressed up in a sort of interpretive costume of the gorgeous and talented Kate Covington, aka "katethegreat19".

      I wore clothes that I thought evoked the kind of image katethegreat19 projects. Eg.: the aboriginal leather pouch filled with flowers.

      I pinned to my shirt pictures of the instruments Kate plays: harp, guitar, recorder, violin, piano, and drums.

      I braided my hair and tied a scarf around it. I wore my most elaborately patterned skirt (which I looove) to reflect Kate's ethereal vibe.

      I didn't include a depiction of Kate's singing because everyone at the purim party knows I'm a singer! So I figured it was represented! :P
