A pioneering Latin American contemporary Christian music (CCM) artist, Danilo Montero is a popular praise & worship performer and recording artist with a long list of albums and decades of experience to his credit.
Born on November 1, 1962, in San Jose, Costa Rica, he formed Sígueme in 1983 and began leading worship around the same time. A ministry as well as a musical production company, Sígueme organizes worship retreats internationally. Montero is the author of the book El Abrazo del Padre: Cómo Encontrar la Comunión Genuina con Dios and is Associate Pastor at Iglesia Lakewood Church in Houston, TX. His recordings are too numerous to list, though live recordings such as Cantar de Tu Amor (2001) and Tu Amor (2007) tend to be among his most popular because they document the energy and experience of his worship sessions. ~ Jason Birchmeier
