Showstripsilence came to life in 2004 when the two founders, the singer/guitarist Gento and the bassist Wallace, with the contribution of the drummer Ben and the lead guitarist Sleazy, created their sound blending hardcore punk and high energy rock'n'roll with horror movies themes.
After a four-track demo, in 2006 the band recorded their first full length "Monsters and Humans: horrorific and all new!" released by the Italian Graves Records, and then hit the road for a promotional tour in Italy, England and Germany.

Showstripsilence had the honor of sharing the stage with bands like Orange Goblin, U.S. Bombs, Backyard Babies, Wednesday13, A Day To Remember, Lagwagon and played as opening act for The Misfits' 2010 Italian tour.

In late 2010, after having finished recording the second full length, Sleazy and Ben left the band, and a new drummer and guitarist, Kick and Lizzy joined the group.

In January 2012, while the new line-up was getting on very well, their second and gloomier record “Thirteen Tales of Love and Death” came out on Sleaszy Rider Records and was followed by several gigs in Italy. "The Creature" is the first single and music video out of it.

In late spring some other work commitments forced Kick to quit the project. But the band didn't give up and after some quests for a new drummer, they were more than happy to welcome aboard the young and deadly Luke.

After headlining a new promotional tour in the UK in March 2013, Showstripsilence is currently writing new material for their third album, expected in early 2014, of course without stopping their live activity.
