Influenced by Dokken, Kiss and Van Halen, their debut was a somewhat formularized collection of mid-paced rockers that ultimately lacked distinction. Produced by Don Dokken and Michael Wagner, the album was eagerly anticipated, but proved a major disappointment when it arrived. Little more was heard of Shire in its wake.
