Comprised of acclaimed illustrator Pete Fowler and Jon Tye, the cosmic and oceanography-influenced sounds of the Seahawks were first heard on the 2010 album Ocean Trippin'.
They lent their trippy, yacht rock and hazy beach pop vibes to several remixes which included artists such as the Horrors and Tim Burgess. They created their own record label, Ocean Moon, in 2011 and released several limited-edition cassette and vinyl long-players. In 2014, they released their official second album, Paradise Freaks, which featured vocals from the likes of Maria Minerva, Indra Dunis, and Burgess. ~ Aneet Nijjar
